July Workshop at House for an Art LoverHouse for an Art Lover, Glasgow - 17-18 July 2008

Just why is it that as soon as Christmas is over, we forget it for 11 months?

The first event for 'Not Just for Christmas' brought together a range of participants to discuss the ways in which Christmas is subject to cyclical 'forgetting', to begin to understand how why we also forget ethical decisions we face at Christmastime.

The workshop was held at the beautiful House for an Art Lover, which was built in the 1990s from original designs by one of Glasgow's most famous sons, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The House was also home, up to 2009, of the Digital Design Studio of The Glasgow School of Art.
