Professor Mark Connelly

Professor Mark Connelly is based at the Department of History, University of Kent. He is the author of Christmas: A Social History, and editor of Christmas at the Movies: The Representation of Christmas in American, British and European Cinema. Mark’s specific interests also cover 1940s and contemporary film culture, especially the representation of the British military, and he is Professor of Modern British Military History.
